I cannot begin to describe how badly I have wanted to shoot a proposal since I began this adventure with photography. I have longed for someone to come to me and say, "Hey, I want pictures taken as I get down on one knee and ask the love of my life to marry me." Billy did just that. He may have had some gently pushing, but I'm okay with that. Billy wanted to propose to Miss Emilea Pittman, and let me just say, the Pittman family and Laurel Hill Photography go way back, and by way back I mean the beginning. They were one of the first sessions I ever did. I have done countless sessions with them since and I adore working with them every single time. This precious event was no exception. When Kellie contacted me on Christmas night about the potential for this, I without reservation said yes!! Fast forward to Saturday January 16, 2016.
I met Billy and followed him to his church where he had planned to ask Emilea to be his bride. He left me to go pick Emilea up and I went to work on the details. Which, if I'm being honest, might be one of my favorite things to shoot.
After the proposal and hugs all around, I snuck the newly engaged love birds away to Tamarack for a quick session and some major cuteness!!!
I could not get these two to get their feet on the ground. They were absolutely on cloud 9!! Their bubbly giddiness was infectious and I loved every second of it!!!
I love Love!!!! I love proposal stories and I love weddings!!! I am so utterly thankful to have been with Billy and Emilea on this day and I'm so glad I can give them this memory in photo form.
